Dear all,
On the 14th of May 2020, Charles Ridler sadly passed away after a long unequal battle with Alzheimer’s. He will be much missed by all. There were few who were more universally liked in the trade and beyond. He always had a smile on his face and a good word for all. In Champagne terms he was a wonderful ambassador for Veuve Clicquot and Laurent Perrier. On retiring from Laurent Perrier he was made an honorary member of the Champagne Academy. Our thoughts are with Nancy and his family.
