The Champagne Academy
Apply for 2027
To attend the course, you must:

Be permanently employed in the wine trade in the UK or Eire.

Have no affiliations with Champagne house.

Be in a role that allows you to promote Champagne to the public.

Have the right to legally travel to France in 2027.

Be over the age of 18 years old.

Deadline for 2027 application is the 30th September 2026, any applications received following that will be held for the following year.*
The deadline for applying to the 2026 cohort has now passed.​​

The Champagne Houses are currently looking at the 2026 applications and will make a decision in the coming weeks. Once the successful 16 applicants have been notified and accepted their place on the Course then all other unsuccessful applicants will be notified.
This process is expected to be completed by the end of the year.

All information given at the time of application must be correct. The Champagne Academy reserves the right to withdraw an offer of a place on the course should any candidate details change after the application has been submitted.

All suitable applications are passed to the Selection Committee who meet in October, and they will ask more detailed questions as to what it means to the applicant and what they will do once they have attended the course.
​
The final sixteen candidates will be invited to participate in the course as guests of all 16 Champagne Houses.​​
